Shaggy's Fry Shack

It's, well It's ok. The fries need to be more well done. They're decent when having them just with salt/vinegar, but them don't stand up to the gravy and just end up soggy and underwhelming. I found the gravy to be lacking in flavor, just didn't do much for me at all. Just your standard beef gravy. The curds, they get points for at least using curds, but they weren't fresh. And I don't find that they put enough on. I'm a firm believer that poutine should have a minimum of 1 curd per fry, and this didn't. The ratio is ok if you order extra curd, but they layer it at the bottom and it ends up just a melted block of curd. I go here as it's not far from my house, and compared to other spots in the area, it's above average. But if you've had Quebec poutine, you will be disappointed.
